Custom Made Products

The Company can manufacture rubber tubes, transitions and cones to customer specifications. These products are useful for transferring material (liquid and solid) from one apparatus to another. Cones are useful for funneling material or when step-up or step-down sizing is required. Tubes and transitions are useful when isolation between equipment is necessary or when custom material handling connections are required.

Gaskets
Economy Rubber, with its extensive experience, offers innovative sealing and isolating/insulating solutions for a variety of applications ranging from hi-tech scientific equipment to food processing and heavy industrial systems. Along with its in-house press equipment, the Company maintains a large variety of sheet material to provide a one-stop solution for most gasket and seal needs. To help fuel the Bay Area’s innovative spirit, Economy Rubber welcomes experimental and prototyping projects.


Extrusions
In addition to gaskets and seals, the Company can supply simple to complex extrusions made from a variety of materials such as rubber, sponge and plastic. Economy Rubber draws on its extensive supplier base to minimize tooling costs and facilitate rapid turnaround. Extrusions are supplied in bulk or cut to length.

Originally founded in 1971 as Economy Rubber and Gasket, the company delivers quality rubber components, assemblies and services that help produce the Bay Area’s diverse products ranging from hi-tech optical instrumentation to petroleum delivery systems to heavy earth moving equipment. In 2007, the company was sold and the name was changed to Economy Rubber, Inc.
